Hi Just a quick question - I logged into the henley properties website tonight to look at a display home in Vic and then went to the SA website (we are building the wilshire with them - and at lock up stage!) and it says 'display homes closed....contact office...new website coming soon'. I feel a bit funny about this as the display village was only opened about 4 months ago...Do you think there could be some financial problems? We have actually had a lot of issues with them and perhaps this is why. Here is hoping that you have some good news. cheers
You're right with the sale of the display homes and the close of the internet site. A bit wierd I agree. Saying that though, I'm guessing that maybe the sales of their homes wasn't as good in Parafield Gardens and they are probably setting up new displays either closer to the city or with their more modern features, such as The Verve range. Will be intereting to hear the outcome.
We ended up getting our salesperson on the phone today (we were not sure who to ring and who knows whether they are going to tell the truth)- apparently they are not building a new display village nor building these type of houses anymore but they do have to finish houses that they are contracted to do. They are just going to focus on the house and land packages that they have under a different name...Summerhill homes or something like that (a lot cheaper and standard colour scheme/inclusions...because this is what the SA public want. Selling the display homes probably also frees up cashflow...??
Thanks for that info. Will be sure to ask our CSA that our build will not be interupted. Will be interesting to see what comes out of the Summerhill homes! Guess it's lucky we got in when we did or we may not have been able to go with the design we love so much.
